A School Where Students Learn Lovingly

Updated: Apr 11

Our very first lovingly blog post is about a special school that holds a lot of meaning for me. It is St. John Catholic School located in North Charleston, South Carolina. St. John is unique in that it “believes that a class should look like the world around us.” It allows children with different abilities, backgrounds and stories to grow and thrive in an environment that works best for each of them. It offers an incredible variety of ways that students can get involved and encourages hands on learning activities such as vegetable and butterfly gardening, chorale, golf, walkers club, student run coffee shop and a Lego robotics team. They give all students a safe space to be themselves, develop confidence and discover their passions. St. John also recently became a Unified Champion school through the special Olympics.

This school is close to my heart because I have watched my own nieces and nephew thrive in this loving community, where all students and teachers know each other’s names and children are encouraged to be the best version of themselves. I could not be happier to support such an amazing school that motivates their students to live lovingly in a community that values learning, diversity and inclusion.

This month St. John is holding their Annual Auction that is online on April 16th and in person on April 23rd. They will be raffling off some of our newest products and many other prizes! We are so excited to be a part of such an amazing event and encourage you to learn more at their Auction website!

Till next time,
